| China has been an outstanding part in the world manufacturing since 1979. The output of many kinds of commodities lies in the top position in the world. Accompanied with the rapid development of our country's manufacturing, foreign and domestic scholars focus on such issues as whether china has been the world manufacturing center or how to become the world manufacturing center. In this article, it assumed that to be the world-manufacturing center is the goal of Chinese manufacturing and discuss certain issues.There are literature overviews in each chapter, which aims to explain the content of each chapter. In the second chapter, after making a conclusion of world manufacturing center raised by foreign and domestic scholars, I draw up a Chinese characteristic standard about world manufacturing center and compare the situation of Chinese manufacturing with this standard. There are many disadvantages in such areas as manufacturing scale, technology and brands. It is sure that the development of our manufacturing should conduct certain strategy, which is to be a manufacturing based on low cost, and then based on technology innovation.FDI is an extremely important outsider factor prompting our country's manufacturing. According to the analysis in chapter 3, FDI does contribute to the development of Chinese manufacturing in such areas like exporting and technology improvement. But it also has negative effect on Chinese manufacturing. Multinational companies usually promote their own brands and constraint the development of domestic brands, and on the other hand, the technology that they transfer to china are not the latest. These entire make Chinese manufacturing has great development in quantity but little in quality.The fourth chapter focuses on FDI policies which have been encouraged many multinational companies invest in china. Based on a game model, this article finds out which kind of FDI policy we should make and give some suggestions. |
