Along with the reform further developing, socialist market-oriented economy starts to be established, develops and perfects, in the same time the stock market begins to spring up and gets to mature gradually. Therefore the property appraisal is demanded badly in the activities of the property right transaction and the property right changing as the stock market developing.In our country property appraisal has a history of more than ten years since 1989, the first property appraise service example that Dalian State Assets Control Section appraised the property of Chinese investors that be invested in Chinese-foreign joint venture enterprise. With the development of reform and the stock market, the property appraisal industry developed rapidly.From September 21, 1989, the first government document of our country mentioned property appraisal "the Certain Temporary provisions about that property appraised must be carried on when State Assets change" was promulgated, and the State Council enacted "State Assets Appraisal Policing method", our country has enacted a series of laws, rules and regulations related property appraisal, established the China Appraisal Society, established the qualification system of the Certified Public Valuator, formulated the qualified test means, formulated the operation opinion on the principle, the methods, the operation sequence, reports, worksheet, and so on, issued "Property Appraisal Criterion- Basic Criterion", "Property Appraisal Occupational ethics Criterion - Basic Criterion" and "Property appraisal concrete criterion -intangible asset", issued specially "the Business Valuation Instruction (Implementation)" regarding the business valuation, which laid the foundation for property appraisal. In the short several years, the appraisal organization has made great progress, the personnel quality enhanced unceasingly, has formed initially a good troop that the occupational morals and the synthesis quality is good, which adapted with the market -oriented economy in the scale.At present, the stock market and the property appraisal already became the highly related two key words. Along with further development and the perfection of the stock market, economic activities involves the property right changing, the property right transaction such as enterprise changing the system, going on themarket, annexation, the reorganization, liquidation, mortgage, reform to stockholder's rights, are more and more, the property appraisal service is more and more, which sets the higher and higher request on the property appraisal. In view of this, this thesis discusses the property appraisal of the stock market laying the stress on Business Valuation. At first, the thesis defines some concepts and summarizes the price types. Second, it introduces the property appraisal service involved in the stock market. Third, it elaborates the rationale of property appraisal. Finally, it elaborates the ways and methods, which provides the theory basis and the method instruction for Business Valuation on the stock market.
