The Essence Problem Of The Boundary Of Firm

"Boundary" concept is putted forward from the system theories at the beginning. The boundary is the marking of the difference system. The scholars lead it into the analysis about the existence of firm and the problem of firm character, and the boundary theories become the foundation of modern enterprise theories. The boundary of firm can be decided by the usage knowledge and the core competency of the firm, and can also be decided by trade efficiency and produce efficiency. Because the development of information and the inefficient knowledge trade, the firm is set up with the core competency of the no-boundary firm, the boundary of firm is in everlasting.The analytical structure of this thesis is as follows: Chapter 1 is the introduction of the paper. Chapter 2 is the commentary on boundary of firm. Chapter 3 explain that why the boundary of firm is changing. Chapter 4 put forward the theories basis of the no-boundary firm. In chapter 5, the author analyze the character of no-boundary firm and the tendency of development. On the one hand, make the whole organization become a vivid system, on the other hand, for no-boundary firms, the boundary refers to not the material boundary, but the competency boundary. No-boundary firms should take part in value networks basing on their core competencies. No-boundary firms have many idiographic forms, which make up of value-network together. Chapter 6 summary the research illustrate of the paper.
