Since the beginning of reform and opening up, China's economy has entered a new phase of sustained and rapid development. China's economic development has draw attention the world. Western human capital theory and new economic growth theory had been proven that human capital is a major factor of economic growth in developed and industrialized countries in west. Investment in human capital accumulation and sustained economic growth is an important foundation to every country in the world.China as one of the world's most populous, natural resources inadequate developing country should pay more attention on human capital investment and sustainable development. China is now facing an economic growth mode from extensive to intensive, and form socialist market economy. How to maintaining high-speed economic growth in this course;there is an urgent need to study the issue of human capital and economic sustainable development. The paper tries to find the deficiencies between human capital and economic growth in China and gives some advice on human capital investment.This paper is divided into five parts, the first chapter: The thesis' background, meaning, purpose and the main research questions;Chapter Ⅱ: The role of human capital in economic growth models and theoretical analysis;Chapter Ⅲ: Human capital and economic growth relations in empirical research;Chapter Ⅳ: Some problems in China's human capital.;Ⅴ: Some countermeasures and suggestions in improve our investment in human capital.
