The Study Of The Relationship Between Corporate Entrepreneurship And Ownership Structure In Manufacturing Industry

Chinese listing firms have been given great attention by the government, the academic world and the business world for a long time. After the year of 2005, the split-share structure reform began to catch the people' s eyes to the topic of ownership structure again. For the aim of building the innovation-oriented country, the Listing Firms become the best one to practice the innovate activities. What's the relationship between the ownership structure and corporate entrepreneurship? Whether the corporate entrepreneurship can help the listing firms promote their financial performance, these questions will be answered by this paper.Based on these questions and the study of literature, this paper introduced the theoretical study of corporate entrepreneurship, adopted questionnaire to empirically analysis the condition of Chinese manufacturing listing firms. This paper analyzed the relationship between listing firms' ownership structure and corporate entrepreneurship.Through the questionnaire and analysis of the data, the main conclusions of this paper are as follows: firstly, a high ratio of ownership concentration is negatively associated with corporate entrepreneurship; secondly, different compositions of the equity have the different association with the corporate entrepreneurship; finally, the corporate entrepreneurship is positively associated with the listing firms' financial performance.
