The technology spillovers from FDI are still a focus to theorists, but the previous studies concentrated on whether the spillover exists or not, seldom explored the specific channels, not to mention founding an effectively analytical framework on the issue. In addition, as a kind of externality, it is hard to measure, so the empirical studies are very rare. The thesis centers channels of spillover and aims at promoting the spillover. The writer interprets the channels, associated with the outcome of spillover. Therefore, the thesis not only has theoretic significance, but also the practical significance. Specifically speaking, this thesis is arranged as follow:Theoretically saying, there are two points can be summed up here. Firstly, any channel can't separate from the accession of local enterprises and foreign enterprises. Traditional studies are on the hypothesis that local enterprises have stronger willing to absorb and foreign enterprises have stronger willing to control. However, the thesis deserts this and on the hypothesis of maximizing profit, as a result, is endowed with firmer base. Secondly, the technology spillovers have mainly four channels: industry linkages, market competition, scientific research and human capital flows, we focus on how the advanced technology transmits from foreign enterprises to local enterprises and what factors constrain that transmission.Empirically saying, we make use of 34 industrial data of china from 1999 to 2003 to conduct the empirical studies. The outcome proves that the above channels do propel the development of local technology. However, the market...
