The developments of the liberalization and internationalization of finance, cause the international competition in the department of finance to be intensifying and complex day by day. Any bank no matter how huge its scale is or how strength it is, it is more and more difficult that competes in the domestic and international markets depend on its own strength. As one kind of the developmental strategy and the organization form of enterprise, the equity strategy alliance can conformity all the resources more effectively, and realize success between alliance members. The establishment of equity strategy alliance, conforms to the request of financial service enterprise——commercial bank to seek the adaptation of fast changing external environment and the developmental strategy. Its effective utilization can dispose and use our existing resources of banking industry more effectively. The domestic banking industry has been raising a tide of equity investing by foreign banks; this becomes the strategy thought of our banking.This article applies the theory of strategic alliance to the equity strategy alliance in our banking industry. Base on the difference of the equity alliance and the non-equity alliance, the definition of the equity strategy alliance has been described. In the problem of way choice of the equity alliance, the article pointed out that the joint capital pattern has withdrew gradually under the system restraint. And it using the case analysis method, analysis the income of Shanghai Bank who is in the pattern of foreign capital investing (to become mainstream pattern), and it also proposes that we should calmly regard the share-holding pattern. Base on these, the article has analyzed two barriers existing in equity strategic alliance: problem of internal members'differences, and problem of the right of control shifting. The article elaborates the reasons and the guard measures of the problem of the right of control shifting, from the two aspects of the equity structures over-dispersing and the control rent.
