At present, there are more and more large-scale constructions like theaters, stadiums, exhibitions etc. Large-scale constructions are the city’s major public activity centers for mass activities. As these buildings have comprehensive functions, complex technical facilities, and high flow density, there are potential safety risks which will cause serious injuries and significant economic losses, and will create adverse social impacts.According to the needs for emergency evacuation in large-scale constructions, this thesis establishes emergency evacuation models and decision optimization methods for large-scale constructions based on mobile GIS. The paper explains how to use mobile GIS to analyze and optimal path under the complex indoor environments. It explains the key technologies adopted in the system which are the foundation of the system design and its realization. This thesis focuses on the following aspects.1. Emergency evacuation model for large-scale construction. To establish a modeling for emergency evacuation needs to take into account the individual characteristics of evacuation, crowd density, environmental and many other factors. In this thesis, the model is based on the density of the evacuation flow rate, combined with environmental monitoring techniques and grid-based design of the space distance calculation.2. Path analysis for emergency evacuation based on sensing technology based on the sensing technologies if Internet of Things.Wireless sensor network (WSN) with a self-organizing, rapidly deployable, highly shielded, unattended and so on. In this paper, WSN indoor temperature, humidity, light and other environmental data collection, for the emergency evacuation route for large venues to provide real-time data analysis.3. Rational design for the mobile GIS database in the large-scale constructions.Gridding management is used in this paper. Large-scale constructions are devided into grids according to the architectures and functions areas. All the relevant environmental parameters are consisted as the property of the grids to be saved in the space database. In this way, the design could not only reduce the storage repetitiousness, but also optimize the structure of data.4. Design and implementation of mobile GIS application based on ArcGIS Server. This thesis present a soluction for emergency evacuation for mobile client in indoor environment, combined with wireless technology such as WLAN, WSN by employing ArcGIS Server. The solution for storing and computing is mainly on server client, which reduces the burden of mobile client and improves the operation efficiency of the system.
