Lysozyme is the hydrolase that can effetely cleave the linkage, β-1,4glycosidic,between of GlcNAc and MurNAc, which exist in the widespread bacterial cell wall,so that it can kill efficiently the bacteria. Then, lysozyme is one of the bestpreservatives in healthcare and food safety. But the cost of free lysozyme is tooheavry to been widely used.A study of the advance effect of modification and immobilized is been search inthis paper. A weak acid cation resin of724is been used for extract and purifylysozyme from the egg white. And then,2columns were prepared that the naturallysozyme was immobilized directly and the modified lysozyme was also immobilizedwith the ricinus agglutinin. For test activity enzyme of these column,we analyze theirantibacterial effect. The result showed that167.6mg lysozyme was acquired and theenzyme activity is2120UI/mg. Enzyme activity recovery was73%. The enzymeactivity of the column of natural lysozyme is530UI/mg, and this column can be used3times. The rate of the lost enzyme activity is1.88%after first time, and2.56%aftersecond time. With the result of the column of modified lysozyme, the enzyme activityis higher, and it can be used also3times. But, the rate of the lost enzyme activity islower,0.09%and0.26%after first time and second time. It means that the modifiedlysozyme can make sure the better stability, the higher enzyme activity and recyclable.By this study, the advance effect of using lysozyme provides experimental data andthe new method...
