Fujian, the southeast coastal region of China is an important West-Straits EconomicArea. While the area is also the central location in one of the five regions of Chineseearthquake zone-the southeast coastal seismic belt. Fujian not only has developed economy,large densities cities, huge number of population, but also our country has built many majorconstruction projects in this region. In terms of economic significance or securityconsiderations, crustal movement monitoring and research activities in the coastal areas ofFujian are important. In this paper, the research objectives are the southeast coastal areas ofFujian characteristics of crustal movement and drive mechanism.And by taking advantageof geodetic techniques, through the derivation of some mathematical, physical model,mainly studied crustal deformation characteristics analysis and mantle dynamics analysis.Through the research of this article, some results are presented as follow:1.Active fault zone has enormous influence on regional crustal movement. Faultsstructure is an important cause of the status distribution of crustal movement characteristics.Meanwhile crustal structure, lithology and regional geophysical field characteristicsdistribution will have an impact on crustal movement.2.From the existing GPS data analysis processing result of Fujian province, theoverall movement in this region has a strong consistency feature.The basic direction ofmovement is along the SE. At the same time there are also NW trend to sport in some areas,which means that there are significant differences movement in some areas of Fujianprovince.3.Fujian, the southeast coastal area of crustal deformation exists strong west to east,south than the northern general characteristics. From the strain magnitude of view, theadvocates strain is greater than the principal compressive strain. The evolution of currentlevel crustal deformation characteristics in the study regional is more complex. As wellfrom the vertical deformation characteristics, the North-West squeezing action of the Philippine Plate makes major tectonic movement perform a North-East uplift and tensioncharacter in most parts of the southeast coast.4. Combined with the deep mantle dynamics mechanism, the surface characteristics ofthe crustal movement in the southeast coastal areas of Fujian has a close relationship withthe above stress conditions. And mantle convection stress fields has close ties with thestress fields across East Asia. They have a the interface and the organic generationrelationship.
