Dawan porphyry molybdenum deposit, located in Hebei LaiYuan Yang Guzhuangtownship, has a tectonic position of the north of taihang mountain orogenic belt innorth China plate. In view of the porphyry molybdenum deposit, geologists havefocused primarily on molybdenum deposit associated porphyry copper-molybdenumdeposit, and few geologists research the porphyry molybdenum deposit.This text study the geochemical characteristics, formation age, source of rock-formingand ore of the rock mass related to mineralize and the deposit. On the basis of studyresults and considering other relevant studies, the paper make a special effort to discussthe relations between magmatic rocks and metallization and the tectonic background. Itis significant to improve the study of the metallogenic mechanism of the porphyrydeposit in intraplate orogenic environment and it can provide a new idea and importantbasis to the study on mineralization and prospecting for the porphyry molybdenumdeposit.The rhyolite porphyry is the ore-bearing rock mass of Dawan deposit and hasforceful alteration zoning. The alteration zoning related to molybdenum mineralizationis potassium belt, silicified zone and like green dish lithification belt, since the rockmass center outward. The rhyolite porphyries have the petrochemistry characteristicsof rich silicon and potassium, high alkali, low calcium and magnesium and highdifferentiation and have structural environment of after the orogenic of intraplate. Thepaper yielded a Rb-Sr isochron age of139.7±6.2Ma,representative the crystallizationage of the rhyolite porphyry and yielded a Re-Os age of137.0~137.6Ma,representative the age of molybdenite. The diagenetic and mineralize almost at thesame time or a little later. It indicated that the diagenetic and mineralize is a sequentialprocess of magma-hydrothermal-mineralize. The ore-forming materials derived fromthe mantle and the magma materials derived mainly from lower crust magma, partlyfrom the mantle according to the isotopic characteristics of S、Pb. The isotopiccharacteristics of H-O indicated that the ore-forming hydrothermal from rhyoliticporphyry magma, and the meteoric waters joined in later period along withmineralization.This paper summarized the diagenetic mineralization model as follows:Under theenvironment after the orogenic of intraplate of taihang mountain, The tectonic regime transformation make the lithosphere delamination and lead to asthenosphere upwelling,thereby the lower crust melting and formed the banded magma chamber. The magmaemplace pulsingly along the deep fracture, and coupling with Ore-forming fluid, thenmagmatic system synchronous movement with fluid system. As the magma coolingand other comprehensive factors, ore-forming fluid decoupled with magmatic, and themineralization form within the rock mass and the contact zone.
