With the development of the science and technology, and the successful launch ofsatellite.Remote sensing technology has developed continuously and rapidly. Efficient use ofmassive remote sensing image product has become an urgent problem to be solved. Typically,multispectral image has better spectral resolution, but lower spatial resolution; hyper-spectralimage has better spatial resolution, but not easy to interpret. People often need both of them tomeet the various demands of work. Therefore, multisource image fusion, a small branch ofimage process, has been widely studied by scholars home and aboard. According to the studyby the researchers for many years, the multisource remote sensing image fusion can bedivided into three categories: pixel level, feature level and decision level. By using the imagesof Tian Hui satellite, based on the development situation of pixel level fusion of multi-sourceremote sensing images and the existing problems, the following aspects are studied:The conclusions of this paper are as follows:1. The remote sensing image data fusion theory, the fusion of the objective and hierarchy,the fusion process, fusion method and its characteristics are analyzed and discussed.2.Elaborated the pre-processing step before image fusion: geometric correction,resampling, image matching. To ensure that the image fusion accuracy.3.This paper expounds the basic thought of pixel level fusion of multi-source remotesensing image fusion method, introduces several method of pixel-based fusion: IHS transformfusion method, principal component analysis fusion(PCA), Gram-Schmidt fusion method.According to these methods, combined with the existing basis for evaluating the image fusionaccuracy, the quality evaluation for image fusion method combining subjective and objective,provides the scientific basis for quality evaluation of fused image.4. Through the test and Tian Hui images obtained in several commonly used algorithmfusion results, and the results of the test of the quality of the fused evaluation and analysisof characteristics of these, the fusion method and applicable scope.
