In the seismic exploration, near-surface varirtions of lithology, velocity, elevation andstructure etc. Often lead to the distortion reflection wave time-distance curve that caused byseismic waves travel delay. Thus greatly affect the seismic profile imaging result. Staticcorrection is to eliminate the surface weathering complex changes influence on the seismicdate of the key steps. So statics method and its effectiveness is always the focus technicalproblem in coalfield seismic exploration in seismic data processing.Firstly, the paper systematically reviews the seismic statics principles and basic concepts.On the basis of analyzing the statics method and its engineering application status, the authorfocused on and analyzed the shallow statics problems and software technology applications,major technical deficiencies brought out during active faults exploration in western region,and then came to some conclusions on these problems.By building the shallow statics analysis model, applying seismic record forwardnumerical simulating and first break refraction static corrections, the author systematicallycarried out test and analysis on the problems, such as statics method and software technologyapplications, some pitfalls may existed or have occurred in data processing and so on. And thenumerical simulating and testing results could guide the processing and interpretation of staticcorrection of coalfield seismic data.Secondly, paper analyzes the conditions of surface consistency hypothesis establishmenin the process of static correction.,Giving the corresponding improvement measures toimprove the accuracy of static correction to the problems that not meet above assumption.Especially for the shallow lateral velocity variation effects on statics made, the author give adetailed description and analysis of numerical simulations, which carried on numericalsimulation and tests, systematically, and obtained clear and intuitive information of the resultsand conclusions of the test.Then, based on the shallow statics analysis and processing application problems, as tomeasured characteristics of active faults seismic data of Hadeling exploration area in QingHai,Respectively editing original seismic data trace、staics、Amplitude attenuation compensation、Predictive deconvolution、Bandpass filtering、FK of prestack、Pumping CMP gathers、Velocity analysis、NMO、stack、MIG and Time-depth conversion,on the basis of the processes andcomparative tests of parameters, reasonable and effective process was chosen for fineprocessing in Hadeling and good results were achieved, eventually.
