| Pile refusing often occur in offshore pile driving. The treatment of pile refusingcan both increased operational costs and delay in the construction period. Combinedwith the actual offshore pile driving operations, dynamic monitoring and analysistechniques which is one of the important treatments used in pile refusing was studied.According to offshore pile driving research, firstly, this paper analyzed thehammer functional and performance. Secondly, the pile refusing factors wereanalyzed which contain soil plug, hammer interrupt time, soil distribution and pilesegments. Offshore pile driven monitoring were carried out by pile dynamic monitor,then monitoring data were treated. Monitoring and analysis methods were formed.The approach which were used to evaluate soil strength restart were proposed. Thetreatments deal with pile refusing were established.Through this research, the offshore pile driving dynamic monitoring and analysistechniques were formed, the method which was used to evaluated soil strength restartwere found. These methods were used in offshore pile driving, major achievementsinclude:(1) High strain dynamic analyzer were use in offshore pile driving, themarine pile driving monitoring and analysis techniques were formed;(2) Identify the analysis method of soil strength restart by the timeelapsed, which have been used in actual offshore operation;(3) Analyze of the pile refusing accidents took place in the Bohai Bay,identified the reason of pile refusing. Give a proposal to prevent pilerefusing to occur from two aspects of the design factors andconstruction factors. |
