It has been documented that traditional electrical well-logging are facing two majorlimitations:1) the inability of traditional measurements to detect dual parameters (bothresistivity and dielectric constant) electromagnetic properties of the anisotropy anddispersion;2) poor real-time capability and insufficient robustness control in currentinversion methods that confines its widespread use in the actual logging data. In thisproject we proposed multi-component dispersion electromagnetic propagation logging toovercome above mentioned limitations.FDTD method discrete differential equation directly, simple and easy, Avoiding thedifficulties of solving large sparse matrix compares other methods.Dealing with theproblem in time domain directly, has a clearer physical meaning. With processing themedium of dispersion and anisotropic facilitately, so this article aim at using the FDTDmethod to solve the forward calculation problem that the multi-componentelectromagnetic propagation logging in non-uniform uniaxial anisotropic dispersionmedium. The main research and results contents.First of all, through the simulation the propagation process of radiation field thatpoint source and electric dipole. Investigation the perfectly matched layer performanceof the uniaxial anisotropy and telescopic coordinate. Realizing the ideal perfectlymatched layer technique; Investigation the stability of the FDTD method; Laiding a solidfoundation for the finite difference time domain simulation algorithm of uniaxialanisotropic dispersion medium.Secondly, establishment the uniaxial anisotropic dispersion medium finite differencetime domain algorithm of rectangular coordinate system; verifing the feasibility of thealgorithm through the simulation of electric dipole radiation field. The FDTD computingprogram is developed, applied to the forward problem calculation of multi-componentdispersion electromagnetic propagation logging. Finally, this paper probes into dispersion medium finite difference time domainalgorithm in cylindrical coordinate system.Through the point source radiation field simulation, solving the electromagnetic simulation problem in the two-dimensional case;examining the perfectly matched layer and the stability of the FDTD method incylindrical coordinate system. Now, thes axial singularities and the three-dimensionaliterative stability problem are solved.
