Radiation calibration is quantified by the recorded digital satellite remote sensing sensoroutput value (DN value) into absolute auxiliary brightness, so as to achieve the purpose ofcalibration. At present, the radiation calibration method is the field method which is widelyused, the method of field is also a way of calibration precision is higher. Calibration in fieldcalibration methods, need a lot of actual measurement data, ground and costly material force,material resources and manpower, however, this calibration method can’t meet thequantitative remote sensing applications, because it provides the accuracy of calibrationcoefficient is extremely limited.Cross radiation calibration is corresponding with field calibration method, the method isby selecting the calibration standard sensor with high precision to calibration target sensorcalibration, reuse of radiative transfer model to calculate the spectral matching factor, crosscalibration method of sensor calibration coefficient is obtained. Cross calibration method isthe fastest growing, highest method of calibration accuracy. Cross calibration is a kind offield calibration method, in recent years is gradually developed in the world. Cross calibrationmethod to make up for the field calibration parameters update cycle is long, the cost is high,is an important part of surveying and mapping satellite application.Calculation of cross calibration of spectral matching factor is an important part of thecross selection, through the simulation analysis, indicates that the factors affecting spectralmatching factor of uncertainty are: atmospheric conditions, altitude, terrain observation of afew what types and sensors. However, different area, different time to get the features of thesame type of spectral matching factor, in the same environment, has the stability, can be usedto substitute the synchronous measurement data.Based on this method, this paper selects the radiation calibration precision is higher theMODIS sensor for the standard sensor, ZY-3satellite multispectral sensor to calibrate theradiation cross. Through the establishment method of the area of interest, respectively inZY-3multispectral images and MODIS image selection of calibration points, and after thepretreatment, cross calibration coefficient is calculated. Finally through the analysis of theuncertainty of calibration results, using the method of ZY-3multi-spectral camera to calibrate the radiation cross has feasibility and reliability.
