With oil and gas exploration and development in depth, the difficulty is alsoincreasing oil and gas exploration, oil and gas as the basis for detection of seismichorizons automatic pick and determine the work becomes more and more important.Meanwhile, the actual geological horizons in the seismic cross-section correspondingto the same phase relationship with the shaft, so to must first obtain a valid locationin the actual formation of the seismic records for each axis with continuous trackingand identification.Phase axis tracking is the use of dynamics and kinematics characteristic featuresof seismic waves recorded an effective process to identify and track the reflectedwaves from the same interface. Its traditional approach is to identify and track thepickup seismic events recorded interpreters phase one or several of the extreme wavesby comparing each channel. Traditional manual method of picking bothtime-consuming, but also by the impact of human knowledge a priori, so in order toovercome these weaknesses of traditional artificial Divine Comedy, widely studiedautomatic extraction method of seismic horizons. In order to track the trajectoryphase axis, through the efforts of many scholars, has developed a number ofalgorithms, such as pattern recognition, tilt fan algorithm, algorithms, edge detection,neural networks, wavelets, identify patterns and chaos theory, which are able to trackthe seismic phase axis trajectory curve.
