Yi shu fault zone is the middle portion of Tan-Lu Fault zone in Shandongprovences, one of the most famous faults in eastern China. In the history, there were morethan5earthquakes occurred along the fault.More and more geologists and seismologistspay their attention to the earthquake hazard estimation of Yi shu fault zone in thefuture. The crustal deformation monitoring is one of the important methods to estimate theearthquake hazard in the region.Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR), is anearth observation technology with a great potential. As an important branch of InSAR, theDifferential Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry (D-InSAR) has the advantages ofhigh spatial resolution on surface obsercations and becoming the main methods tomonitoring the surface deformation. Two InSAR time series analysis methods: Permanentscatters InSAR(PS-InSAR) and Small Baseline Subset InSAR (SBAS-InSAR) werearoused to overcome the spatial and temporal decorrelation limitations of D-InSAR, basedof the D-InSAR method. The methods are suitable for long-term solely deformationmapping. We took Yi shu fault zone as the study area and studied systematically about themonitoring deformation of Yi Shu Fault zone based on InSAR method with Envisat-ASARdata source, including heoretical analysis, data processing, the analysis and comparison ofexperimental results and others processes, the main research work can be summarized asfollows:1. By analyzing and summarizing the limitations in the tradition InSAR and D-InSARtechnology, we introduced two InSAR time series analysis methods: Permanentscatters InSAR(PS-InSAR) and Small Baseline Subset InSAR (SBAS-InSAR). I madesome further analysis on the key techniques during long-term solely deformationmonitoring2. Taking Yi shu fault zone as the study area, using PS and SBAS time series analysismethods deal with18ENVISATASAR images and after Creating SLCs, DifferenceInterferometric and Series Analysis, we derived the crustal deformation in our testarea.3. Based on the analysis of the geology structure in our study area, combined with thedeformation information of the two InSAR time analysis methods we carried out theholistic deformation analysis and the point deformation analysis. With the deformationanalysis, we concluded the deformation trend of the test area, and we proved that themethods are suitable for monitoring long-time, large-area and slowly deformation andthe results of the two calculation methods are coherent.
