This paper is based on the research of the four section: Paojianggou, Kekeya, keliyang and keyikejia section. We collect1104samples from99sample points. The anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility test and paleomagnetic studies are finished in Paleomagnetism laboratory of Zhejiang university. The Paleomagnetic study is aimed at comparing the differences of the magnetic declinations of the different sections. We get840valid data from the anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility test and distinguish the deposition fabric and deformation fabric. The ancient flow analysis and stress analysis are carried on systematically to discuss the relationship between the uplift and the change of the ancient flow and stress. We have got the following conclusions:the northwest of the tarim had a counterclockwise rotation of about29.3°in the Oligocene and this movement stoped in the early Miocene. The large-scale strike slip fault began to develop in the middle Miocene and active in the middle and late Miocene, which adjusted the displacement between the pamir and the tarim. In the late Miocene to the early Pliocene, the strike slip weakened and the parmir and the west Kunlun began to uplift. | Keywords/Search Tags: | the west Kunlun, the paleomagnetism, the paleocurrent direction, the magnetic fabric | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
