In this paper, the study of synchronization for the new fractional-order hyperchaoticsystem is investigated. For the new fractional-order hyperchaotic system, based on thestability theory of fractional-order system, combined with several synchronization methods, itmakes in-depth research in synchronization problem (including chaotic synchronization withsame structures and different structures). And it is demonstrated by the theoretical analysis,numerical emulation and circuit emulation.Firstly, it briefly describes the current status of synchronization for the fractional-orderchaotic systems, and model of the new fractional-order hyperchaotic system is showed. Thesignificance of this article research is elaborated. Then four methods are put into the newfractional-order hyperchaotic system separately based on the stability theory offractional-order system and the Lyapunov function to determine fractional-order system. Andthen synchronization controllers are designed. The research in the synchronization for the newfractional-order hyperchaotic system with same structures is finished, and it is verified bynumerical emulation and circuit emulation. Finally, the synchronization for the newfractional-order hyperchaotic system with different structures is investigated by using threedifferent synchronization methods.In this paper, we get a relatively new idea which concentrates on a completesynchronization study with several methods used in the synchronization of integer-orderchaotic system for the new fractional-order hyperchaotic system, and achieve useful results.Especially, controllers are designed with feedback control method based on the trackingcontrol theory and stability theory of fractional-order system. The synchronization forfractional-order hyperchaotic system and integer-order system in high dimension isinvestigated, also the synchronization for integer-order system in three dimension andfractional-order hyperchaotic system in four dimension is investigated in the situation ofdifferent orders and dimensions. It shows that controllers are practical and effective withproof of theoretical analysis, numerical emulation and circuit emulation. This has positivesignificance for further research and application of fractional-order system.
