A new record species of China in family Delesseriaceae, genus Membranoptera has beenestablished through morphological observation and rbcL analysis. The features are as follows:(1) Thallus are crimson to brownish red, soft,4-10cm high;(2) With dark short stipe, flaterect axes are obvious;(3) The banches are monolayer cells, long foliated, opposite, alternative or second;(4) With unconspicuous microscopic veins;(5) With spinyproliferations;(6) The vegetations are1-2layers of cells,10-30μm thick;(7) Cystocarpsdistributed on the whole branches, obviously protruded from the thallus;(8) Tetrasporangiumdistributed on the whole branches of the tetrasporaphites, cruciform divided;(9) The distancesbetween samples rbcL gene of two different collection times are4bp, four samples form asubclade with other Membranoptera species within the large Delesseriaceae clade. Thepairwise distances between the samples and M. fabriciana from Canada is2bp (0.15%). So, itindicates to be a new recorded species of China named Membranoptera fabriciana (Lyngbye)Wynne&Saunders, and the genus Membranoptera is a new record genus of China.A new record species of Liaoning coastal has been established by morphologicalobservation and rbcL analysis. The features are as follows:(1) Thalli are small,2-5cm high;(2) Thalli are crimson to carmine;(3) With short stipe,0.1-0.5cm long;(4) The flakinessbranches are palmate or fork shaped,0.4-0.8cm wide;(5) The margins are arch, entirely orsplintery;(6) There are sometimes proliferations circularly;(7) With longitudinal microscopicveins that could be seen by eyes but not obvious;(8) No differentiations of cortex andmedulla,1-2layers of cells in the marginal part with2-4layers of cells in the middle part;(9)Thalli attached to the ground substance with rhizoid tubers;(10) Cystocarps distributed on thewhole branches, four celled carpogonial branch, tetrasporangium are oval, cruciform divided;(11) The rbcL sequences of four examples are identical and form a single subclade with theother two Acrosorium species within the large Delesseriaceae clade, the pairwise distancebetween the samples and a A. polyneurum from Japan is3bp (0.22%).(12) The sporesreleased from mature cystocarps are dipolar, one polarization germinate a colorless rhizoidsand the other germinate melanocratic vegetative portion. So, it indicates to be a new recordspecies of the Huanghai Sea named Acrosorium polyneurum Okamura.
