This paper presents a comprehensive geology research for Block Jin91which is theblock of Huanxiling oilfield in Liaohe basin. Block Jin91is located within the southwest ofXibaqian county of Linghai municipality of Liaoning province. Structurally, it lies inHuanxiling upper bench of the West slope of the West sunken of Liaohe downfaultedbasin.It’s the secondary block and located in the southwest of Block Jin45. It’s also a majoroil block.Construction area is5.02km2, oil-bearing area is4.05km2and oil OOIP is2287×104t. The main scope of this study is test area and the expansion of the test area inBlock Jin91. Yulou floor is the main purpose of the reservoir layer. Entire block is dividedinto two portions by the fault primarily affected. Bedded sandstone edge water reservoir is inthe eastern.The stratum dip is steeper(9~11°),structural highs is near by Well Jin45-13-20.the layer of the west is moderate(2~3°),structural highs is near by Well Jin45-23-241, it’s a bedded sandstone bottom water reservoir.In order to guarantee sustainabledevelopment, a comprehensive geology research is needed to be carried out to bring about abetter understanding.Steam stimulation of Yulou layer has entered the late,it has entered the high–roundinefficient production stage, production is getting worse. Oil and gas ratio is0.22,averagedaily oil production of single well is1.0t/d,shut the proportion is45.5%,it close to the limit ofcyclic steam stimulation,throughput manner is about to waste, mode conversion is urgent todevelop.But for Class Ⅱreservoir,is still dominated in cycli steam stimulationcurrently.Steam flooding pilot test achieves better development results in2008.because offrequent swing of the small layer in underwater distributary channel,it underwater disteibutaryriver sand and river sand skeleton longitudinally stacked combination of mutual peace amongeach other with noodles,resulting strong vertical plane and reservior heterogeneity,make useof reservior heterogeneity and vertical plane,it becomes the main factors of restricting steamdrive further expansion implenentation in the block. For the problems of the development andproduction,through the analysis of geological conditions and production in this block,launching fine reservoir evaluation studies of Yulou floor in Block Jin91,deepenunderstanding of reservoir heterogeneity,based on stratigraphic correlation and the principleof division, divide oil group,sandstone,sedimentary layers rhythm small subdivision;using theresults of3D seismic fine structural interpretation to study the characteristics of fracture andstructural;based on petrology,sedimentology and core data to determine the phase of thedepositional model,to study vertical evolutionof sedimentary microfacies and the law of planedistribution; to study the reservoir characterristics,including petrology and physicalproperties,heterogeneity,microscopic pore structure,researching interlayers occurrence and thedistribution of plane;further clarify the law of oil and gas distribution and controlfactors,buliding a three-dimensional geological model, lay a solid foundation for thedevelopment of methods conversion of Yulou floor in Block Jin91,ensure sustained andstable development of the reservoir.
