Changling fault depression is Located in the southern Songliao Basin, And with the samesubject"Source Control Theory", like Daqing Oilfield in the northern Songliao Basin,t o guideoil and gas exploration. Determine the Changling Fault Depression source rock distributionlayers and the distribution range, Research Hydrocarbon potential as source rocks, Define thedistribution of the advantages of source rocks layers and blocks, Identify regularity betweenfaulted structure and source rock distribution, that have important guiding significance tounderstanding the distribution of oil and gas exploration and development of oil and gas ofthe study area.Basis to geological, seismic, geochemical, logging, drilling data, Combines single-welllogging evaluation of source rocks with ΔlogR method, and the seismic responsecharacteristics of typical hydrocarbon source rocks lithological combination, predict thedistribution of source rocks in the study area. Combined faulted structural characteristics ofthe study area, summed up the law between faulted structure and distribution of source rocks.Finally, using the mass balance method in the study area to estimate hydrocarbon source rockpotential and secondary rift was preferred and queuing. Obtained the following knowledge inthe research process:①The source rocks of Yingcheng group in the Changling faultdepression are mainly moderate or good source rock. kerogen type is ⅡA-ⅡB type in maturestage and over-ripe stage; the source rocks of Shahezi group are mainly good source rocks.kerogen type is for IIB-III type in a High mature stage mostly; The source rocks ofHuoshiling group are mainly moderate or poor source rock. kerogen type is mainly Ⅲ type allin High mature stage.②The source rocks of Yingcheng group and Shahezi group largeoverall thickness, good continuity, high quality, the source rock ara distributed in everysub-sags, which is the main hydrocarbon source rocks intervals of Changling fault depression;The source rocks of Huoshiling group the quality is not good, poor continuity, only developedin several sub-sags, which is not the main hydrocarbon source rocks intervals of Changlingfault depression.③Changling fault depression faulted structure types are mainly singledustpan half-graben; The fault combination style mainly is same period of half-graben anddifferent stages of half-graben; The growth mechanism of Changling’s fracture is segmentedgrowth.④The single dustpan half-graben’s faulted structure type of Changling fault depression determines the basic pattern of the distribution of source rocks;The segmentedgrowth mechanism of Changling’s fracture control of the thickness distribution ofhydrocarbon source rocks in secondary centers; The fault combination style affect theevolution and distribution of hydrocarbon source rock in time and space.⑤Using the massbalance method to calculate the amount of potential expulsion of each sub-layers and sub-sags.The total amount of the potential expulsion of Yingcheng group is58.602×108. The totalamount of hydrocarbon potential source rocks of Shahezi group is74.095×108t. The totalamount of the potential expulsion of Huoshiling group is51.725×108t. For the purposes ofeach sub-sags, Qianan sub-sag is maximum, the secondry is Fulongquan sub-sag,Qianshenzijing sub-sag and Changlingmuchang sub-sag,Chaganhua sub-sag is minimum.
