Abstract:Varieties of geological hazards distributed in the mountainous area in western China, which seriously threaten the lives and property of local people. The author developed Highway Slope Geographic Information System of Guizhou Mountains Area, which, macroscopically, achieved the geological hazards susceptibility mapping in Guizhou province and early warning of the danger zone according to real-time rainfall. In this way, it can provide reference for road network planning, designing and operation; the visual management of highway slope and stability analysis models can work together to analyze the stability of slopes; monitor and analyze dangerous slopes, and built forecast models to predict the displacement change, so as to achieve the purpose of controlling and mitigating disasters. The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) The paper studies the geological hazard assessment according to the historical data of hazards and other geographic information in Guizhou Province. The author also adopts geoprocessing tools to develop the extension theory evaluation model based on the subjective and objective optimal combination weighting law. The model is packaged and published as geoprocessing service based on ArcGIS Server.(2) The geological hazard susceptibility mapping subsystem is constructed to achieve the automatically geological hazard susceptibility mapping in Guizhou province. The model of rainfall is also developed. Taking real-time rainfall into consideration, the susceptibility mapping subsystem can achieve geological and meteorological coupling warning.(3) Study stability analysis methods of slope and build stability analysis model base of slope. Conduct stability analysis and grading of slopes from the perspective of both certainty and uncertainty, in this way, we can achieve visual management of slope by WebGIS.(4) Relevant forecast models have been developed after building data processing model, so as to achieve the early warning of monitored slopes. (5) Highway Slope Geographic Information System of Guitzhou Mountain Area is developed by rich internet application (RIA) and WebGIS technology.
