Nowadays,following the pace of the development in domestic drilling technology,the horizontal well drilling technology is evolving under way.And equipments,which are related to horizontal well,are going into operation in succession.Meanwhile,there are certain progresses on the research of horizontal well exploition.The theories and the experiences of logging and drilling in the past,however,are mostly based on the vertical well.Quite a lot of personnel,when participating in logging interpretation,couldn’t get rid of the mental prison which has been built by tradition,and they lack comprehensive understanding of logging response of horizontal well.So,in fact,the research of the horizontal well logging interpretation method and geosteering technology is still at its preliminary stage.This low level capability in the realm of horizontal well technology severely hindered the progress in this field.With regard to the current situation,we have to come up with relatively pefect theory of logging response, makeing numerical simulation of logging response a more significant work.The implementation of numerical simulation would rely on a computer,so we need to design revelant algorithms.Comparing with the vertical well,the most prominent characteristic of horizontal well is the unsymmetry of the well pivot with the layer,which leads to the high-dimensionality and the complexity of the logging response function, and many features of horizontal well are greatly different from those of vertical well.The increasing complexity exaggerates the difficulty of the programme design and the algorithm optimitization and will challenge the capability of programme writer.For these reason, sophisticate algorithms will play an important role in horizontal well logging response numerical simulation.The main content of the paper could be divided into three parts. Firstly, according to the data of geology, The horizontal well logging response will be in depth analyzed with regard to GR and DLL incorporating the relevant expertise of math and physics, based on the formation, core experiment and logging of Gaotaizi, Putaohua and Fuyu Group, which are located in the south of Changyuan in Daqing Oil Field. Secondly, the relevant alforithm and the numerical simulation programme will be introduced. Thirdly according to the production data and the chart the theories and algorithms above tested.The research field involves basic theories,which contain physics,math,computer science and logging theories.The research results have a extensive implementation prospect.
