In recent years, the frequent geological hazard caused tremendous loss of lives and property to human society in the globe. China is one of the countries most severely affected by geological hazard in the world. There15403geological hazard took place which caused481deaths and188people were injured only in2013.And the direct economic losses of10.2million yuan caused incalculable loss to our society. It is necessary for better prevention of geological hazard, reducing or avoiding the influence of geological hazard and protecting people’s lives and property by the means of the effective management of geological hazard. And then provide scientific decision-making for the prevention and mitigation of geological hazard.The article launched an in-depth study for the management of geological hazard information on the basis of previous research result. The article mainly includes the following:1.The article has been clear about the content of geological hazard management, established the framework of geological hazard management and designed geological hazard management process and data structure, database through the research and analysis of the practile work of basic department of he geological environment, including:(1) Study scalable data structure to adapt to a variety of geological hazard information and design review process of geological hazard management to achieve safe and efficient management of geological hazard through the analysis of basic geological data, video data, spatial data of geological hazard, thematic data of geological hazard and work data of geological hazard and so on.(2) Research to improve the efficiency of information transfer and guide public participation in group measurement and guards against system to achieve rapid group measurement and guards against for existing group measurement and guards against system inefficient and public participation is not high.(3) Study work process of inspect work for the geological environment grassroots research applicable administrative department staff through the analysis of existing geological hazard inspection system to provide the service of geological hazard.(4) When faced with unexpected geological disasters, study extract of rescue environment and rescue department to provide the emergency rescue decision through the analysis of existing geological hazard environmental information.(5) Study using SMS, portals, mobile application, and other means to send warning forecast information of geological hazard to public.(6) Research a better work process of geological hazard governance to achieve effective management of geological hazards governance information through the analysis of the work of geological hazards governance.2.Using WebGIS, network technology and database technology to implement the management system of geological hazard at county level, including:using WebGIS distributed massive technology to achieve efficient organization and management of massive geological disasters dynamic information; using mobile Internet technology for fast real-time geological disasters monitoring and prevention; using overlay analysis, buffer analysis and network analysis to achieve extraction of geological hazard emergency rescue and hazard units surrounding environmental information.The reasearch solve the problem of providing diverse service,such as dynamic geological hazard information management, geological hazard emergency command, geological hazard office automation and warning publishing, for basic geological hazard management department, geological hazard investigators and public. It can not only meet the needs of geological hazard management and control at county level, but also to guide the public to participate group measurement and guards against. The system has been successfully applied in Wenchen County, Zhejiang Province.
