Jiuwan Mountain National Nature Reserve pregnants with lush wild ornamental plants and maintain a rich diversity of species due to its unique natural and geographical conditions. Based on the investigation and analysis of wild ornamental plants in Jiuwan Mountain, from aspects of resources from ornamental plants, ornamental, medicinal value, landscape applications, the development of comprehensive evaluation analysis, utilization of wild ornamental plant resources, a comprehensive interpretation is drawn for the construction and development of protected areas, sustainable development and utilization of ornamental plant resources. Main results are as follows:(1)Through a comprehensive survey, Jiuwan Mountain Nature Reserve is identified and screened of1,291kinds of wild ornamental plants (including subspecies, varieties, forms), belonging to353family154genera, including117kinds of ferns belonging to25families32genera and17kinds of gymnosperms7families,10genera,132kinds of monocots19families and57genera,1,025kinds of dicot genus103families254genera.(2)After investigation and a statistical analysis to determine dominant families in Jiuwan Mountain wild ornamental plants (species number≥20) is Rosaceae, Lauraceae, Theaceae, Moraceae, Aquifoliaceae, Ericaceae, Symplocaceae, Gesneriace, Orchidaceae, Magnoliaceae, Urticaceae, Dryopteridaceae, Vitaceae, Myrsinaceae, Liliaceae, Fagaceae, Verbenaceae, Actinidiaceae,30Dominant genera(species number≥5)is Ficus, Rubus, Ilex, Symplocos, Eurya, Rhododendron, Ardisia, Actinidia, etc.(3)According to the life forms, the wild ornamental plants in Jiuwan Mountain Nature Reserve is divided into five types of ferns ornamental plants (25families and32genera117species), bamboo ornamental plants (1families8genera and15species), lianas ornamental plants (34families52genera223species, including flower, fruit, foliage, etc.), ornamental grasses (44families100genera255species, including flower, foliage, etc.), ornamental trees(77families179genera681species, including concept posture, flower, fruit, etc.), which ornamental shape or morphology of each class are analyzed.(4)Rare and endangered plants is screened in Jiuwan Mountain wild ornamental plants in total of64kinds, which belonging to22families,36genera, including18kinds of national key protected wild plants, which belonging to14families and17genera, IUCN Red List critically endangered species in three species, endangered species in eight and vulnerable species in six, the CITES Appendix species, there are3families,7genera and28species of key protected wild plants in Guangxi Branch9families,12genera and14species.(5)analyzes the wild ornamental plants with medicinal value in272families125genera454species, and describes their medicinal parts.(6)On analyzes of garden use, wild ornamental plants in Jiuwan mountain are put into ten categories of trees, street trees(343species),hade tree(286species), lone tree planting(395species), trees(42species), landscape trees(476species), vines(223species), ground cover plants(370species), bedding plants(540species), hedge plants(278species), pile King plants(72species).(7)Base on the learning of all kinds of wild ornamental plant, this paper constructs a comprehensive evaluation system, and secondary screens77kinds of ornamental grasses and100kinds of ornamental trees to the priority development and evaluation quantitatively.(8)Base on the survey of Jiuwan mountain Wild Ornamental plants, analyzes and summarizes wild ornamental trees communities, shrub and grass plant configuration in different altitudes, different habitat.(9)Analysis the problems about plant protection, utilization in Jiuwan mountain and propose countermeasures.
