The article adopts the tight-binding theory and non-equilibrium Green’s functionmethod,it simply analyzes the electronic property of two-dimensional single-grapheneribbon with vacancy. The main content is four vacancy defects influence on the zigzaggraphene ribbon’s local density of states, conductivity and spatial distribution of thecurrent. The study finds that different vacancy defects with different effects on theelectronic transport properties of graphite, and the most obvious effect comes from thesingle vacancy defects. Because of the vacancy defects, the graphene ribbons’ spatialdistribution of current appears the spiral or around oscillation effects.This paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter is an introduction of the background of graphene ribbons.The second chapter describes the main calculation methods in this paper. It containsthe Tight-binding approximation, Non-equilibrium Green’s function and Iterativeself-energy theory.The third chapter discusses the comparison of the single and dual-single vacancydefects, and two different structures of the divacancy, in order to analyze the effect of theelectronic property of graphene ribbon with vacancy defects.
