Since the1970s, as excavating depth of coal mine roadway is deeper and deeper, phenomenon of that deep high stress soft rock roadway is difficult to be controlled because of creep increases with each passing day, but to this day, people don’t have a decisive cognizance of roadway surrounding rock creep process law and its failure mechanism yet. Under a certain stress level, creep time--displacement curve measuring on the surface of mudstone roadway has three clear phases what are slowing down creep phase、steady rate creep phase and acceleration creep phase. With test difficulties and a lack of testing data it is limited to research the third creep phase. So searching the rule of surrounding rock creep process power in this article is not only very good at the improvment of rock mechanics basal theory but also at the substantial engineering problems.Based on the analysis of roadway deformation characteristics、factors and its mechanism and the corresponding measurement of Xutuan coal mine engineering geological characteristics, this title has researched creep dynamic evolution law、 dynamic simulation research and substantial commercial test of deep high stress soft roadway surrounding rock and the research is based on test well of Huaibei Mining Co., Ltd. Xutuan coal mine. The article contents basal experiment research、 theoretical research、analytic computation and computer dynamic simulation analytic technique research. Steady substantial commercial test has been in progress, and it has achieved desired effect and has proved correctness of the surrounding rock creep process rule analyzed.
