Measure water ratio, as an important parameter to reflect the oil-well production capacityand the well fluid composition, is the main basis for geological evaluation block productivityand to make development plan. In the face that underground geological condition is more andmore complex, the problem of measuring the high water cut stage of oilfield water contentdifficulty is more and more outstanding, to solve this problem is becoming more and moreimminent.Aimed at the practical problems that it’s hard to measure water ratio, and harder tomeasure accurately of oil/water two-phase flow in high water cut producer, this paper takesthe water flooding oil feilds of Daqing NO.4Oilfield as examples,According that samplingcapacitor water detectors are just applied to the oil field during low water-cut period, and thatimpedance type annular water detectors and probe output section water detectors are justapplied to the oil field during high water-cut period,we do interior experiments and on-sitetests enclosuring coaxial phase method water cut meter. Finally, we’ve come to theconclutions that coaxial line phase water cut meters have wider measurement range which notonly could measure moisture continuously, but also could be applied to the oil field duringlow water-cut period and improve the accuracy.
