In the development of modern science and technology, the application ofspectral analysis in composition analysis, structure analysis and have played animportant role in scientific research. The atomic emission spectrum of thisanalysis method is not only of metal, alloy, the determination of mineralcomposition, also has a important role on production process control. And hasbeen widely used in polymer materials, oil chemical industry, agriculture,medicine, environmental science and life science and other fields.In this paper, by using photoelectric direct reading spectrometer analysisof chemical elements in carbon steel, and the standard values of standard steelsample and compare the measured values, the error analysis and uncertainty ofthe test data of research, based on the test method, test standard, testenvironment, equipment improvement, find out how to use the photoelectricspectrometer method for accurate detection.
