Abstract:In recent years,3D modeling technology has been widely introduced into the prediction and evaluation of mineral resources and has become a hot spot of geological research. Compared with the traditional technology, three-dimensional modeling of geological body has the advantage of being able to more accurately express various geological phenomenon, and can directly show the spatial information and topological data of mining geological unit, hidden geological information. Based on3D geological modeling technology the variogram functions and spatial variation ellipsoid were build using geostatistical methods, the changes of morphology and spatial distribution of orebody in space were analyzed, and grade caleulation and resource estimation were done.In this paper, taking "Stereoscopic Prediction of Blind Ore Bodies in Depth and Margin of Jinchuan Mine Area" project as background, taking No.2Mine of Jinchuan as an example, taking the study of3D geological modeling, spatial variogram function and spatial variability of ellipsoid theory and methods.The main work includes the following aspects:(1)A11kinds of geological data collected in No.2Mine of Jinchuan are analyzed, all kinds of package required exploration line geological section map, the geological map, borehole log, drilling and sampling data and a variety of maps, reports, tables were collected and digitized, and establish the integrated geological database management.(2)According to the geological section map, the middle line of geological map and other original data, using ArcGIS, GoCAD, Datamine and other3D geological modeling software to establish the establishment of the No.2Mine of Jinchuan3D wire frame model, three dimensional string model and3D block model.(3)Application of geostatistics, in Surpac and Datamine software, build the variogram function and spatial variation of ellipsoid No.2Mine of Jinchuan Cu and Ni grade, Cu and achieve a grade of Ni spatial distribution showed morphological changes.(4)According to the variogram function and block model were established, the estimated spatial interpolation estimation and the Cu and Ni grade by using Datamine software.
