The seismic motion parameter zonation is the seismic motion peak accelerationand characteristic period of seismic response spectrum as index, the scope of aparticular area is divided into the area of different seismic fortification standards.Handan city is a key area for earthquake surveillance in our country,and it have theearthquake seismogenic structure,so seismic fortification is particularly important. Thispaper analyze and research the handan city ground motion peak acceleration andresponse spectrum characteristics, finally I adopt double parameter zoning laws tocomplete the ground motion parameter zoning map at the same time.The researchresults can provide the reference for Handan city general seismic fortificationconstruction project and seismic microzonation.In this paper, the research of Handan city ground motion parameters andregionalization includes the following several parts:(1) Through the analysis of data collected from the seismic geological environmentsituation in the study area, we can determine the research area earthquake statistics unit-seismic zone, and analyze the trend of the future activities, in order to prepare forseismic hazard analysis.(2) Using the probability analysis method of seismic hazard in China-CPSHAseismic risk analysis, and according to the results of seismic risk probability calculation,finally it is concluded that the handan city42sites bedrock levels and the correspondingpeak ground acceleration response spectrum, and draw the bedrock horizontal peakacceleration contour map, evaluate its distribution.(3) Basis based on the shear wave velocity and coating thickness of the doubleindicator site classification, which handan city area is divided into two regions: east toⅢ site, accounts for two-thirds of the total area; West of Ⅱ class site, accounting forone-third of the total area.(4) Based on one-dimensional equivalent linearization method, construction ofhandan city site categories, a total of42different calculation model, finally it isconcluded that the handan city, peak acceleration and response spectrum of the sites ofthe surface, and statistical analysis by the bedrock peak acceleration amplification factor to the earth’s surface.(5) According to the above data, based on the ground motion peak acceleration andthe ground motion response spectrum characteristics of the cycle of double parameterspartition method of handan city the ground motion parameter zoning map, andcompared with the current seismic design code.(6) Finally the evaluation of handan city earthquake geological disasters, and putforward protection measures.
