Along with the accelerated process of digitization and information, mining enterprises produce a large number ofmulti-source, heterogeneous and distribution three-dimensional information, simultaneously people get into the "datarich and poor knowledge" problem. It badly needs to research the integrated management and in-depth exploration ofthe three dimensional space information. Therefore, based on the method of theoretical analysis and practicalapplication, the three dimensional space information integrated system and its application of MiaoGou iron mine havebeen studied. The main research contents are as follows:1) The three dimensional space information of MiaoGou iron mine has been analyzed. Spatial information isdivided into three categories, there are original information, results information and production information, throughthe analysis of the information flow among three types of information, their inner link has been obtained.2) Based on the characteristics of mine spatial information, different data analysis methods have been used, rockparameters, borehole data and measured data have been got. It provides basic information for further application of thespatial information and establishment of spatial information model.3) The clustering method of spatial information has been researched. According to this characteristics which canproduce clustering due to the change of direction, a new method of spatial data clustering which is based on directionhas been proposed. The algorithm of clustering has been designed and realized, and then the experimental data is usedto verify this algorithm. In view of the specific application requirements, based on the above method, the gradientmethod of spatial data clustering has been proposed. This method clusters the fault data, and it provides a new methodto identify the fault.According to the characteristics of MiaoGou iron mine space information, this research uses the constrainedDelaunay Triangulation method to establish the spatial information surface model. According to characteristics oflayered deposits data, the article discrete the contour data, and based on irregular tetrahedron, the spatial informationentity model has been established. The research of these methods provides a theoretical basis for spatial informationmodel integration.5) Three dimensional space information integration of the MiaoGou iron mine. The contour DEM, surface modeland irregular tetrahedron solid model have been integrated together. Integrated management of mine spatialinformation model has been realized. Through the analysis of the information flow among original information,products information, production information and spatial information, the inner link among different kinds of minespatial information has been obtained, and the integration of three dimensional space information is finished.
