This issue derives from the National major project of oil and gas of Shengli Oilfield《TheDemonstration Projects of Low Permeability Thin Interbed Oilfield of Shenglioilfield—Research of Description Technologies of Low Permeability Thin InterbedReservoir》. Beach bar sand body oil reservoir has huge growth potential and have become arapid growth point for lithologic oil-gas reservoirs. At the same time, it has somecharacteristics-deep depth, low resolution, thin thickness for single layer and large lateralvariation which lead to great difficulties for exploration and development. Based on abovedifficulties, I conduct some research work about beach bar sand body reservoir prediction.On the basis of numerous literature surveys, this issue makes a conclusion about theprospecting situation of beach bar sand body reservoirs in China. In addition, I make acomprehensive analysis and evaluation from three aspects--geological characteristics、well logresponses and seismic features. Through above comprehensive analysis, we can have morecomprehensive understanding about beach bar sand body reservoir which can lay a solidfoundation for the following researches.Seismic attributes analysis play an important role in seismic exploration. Seismic datacontain a large number of geological information, so we can take advantage of seismicattributes analysis to unfold the hidden information. It is very important for reservoirprediction. This issue extracted several attributes to conduct distribution forecast for beach barsand body. As well, we use the high precision frequency attenuation analysis to predict the oilreservoirs. At the same time, seismic attribute fusion technology is also used. We can regardthe ancient landform information as one attribute, so we can combine it with another attributewhich result in good application effects.Aimed at the low resolution of the seismic data, this issue uses HHT-MWT detection technology to predict the distribution of beach bar sand body. Firstly, we use Hilbert HuangTransform to conduct spectrum whitening in order to improve the resolution, and then we usethe multi wavelet technology to detect the sand body. Through the above two steps, we canhighlight the reservoir information and suppress other useless messages. We have great resultsin practical uses.There exists oil shale strong reflection in our research area which submerges the usefulreservoir information into the strong event, it brings big barriers for reservoir detection. Thisissue takes advantage of the matching pursuit technology to remove the strong reflection. Inthe following steps, we can analyze the seismic data which frees form the oil shale strongevent. The practice has proved that we can detect more reservoir information after the strongevent removal. It is helpful to predict the beach bar sand body and provide a new way forbeach bar sand body reservoir prediction.
