Gas-liquid two-phase flow around bluff body is a common phenomenon inindustrial output. Study it’s mechanism has great importance in safe and efficientproduction. In this work, we research the similarities and differences between thevortex signals which are collected under the different working conditions. Thus weprovide supports for the research of the variation of the pressure field in two-phaseflow around a bluff body.This paper using three different methods to analysis the vortex street signal ofgas-liquid two-phase, and come to some conclusion:1, Analysis the vortex street signal collected in the experiment using waveletpacket transform, wavelet packet transform decompose the signal into low frequencysignal and high frequency signal, the paper compare the difference of vortex signalscollected under the different working condition through analysis approximationsignal’s energy value and detail signal’s energy value.2, Calculate the maximum Lyapunov index of vortex signal in differentconditions using Chaos Theory, and determine whether the fluid flow around bluffbody under the different conditions has chaos characteristic by the maximumLyapunov index. Compare with the existing research results and find the blunt bodyhas no influence in chaotic characteristics of slug flow.3, Use the method of fuzzy clustering analysis in vortex signal analysis for thefirst time. Clustering the vortex signal under different conditions using clusteranalysis, make the same sample of the variation of the flow field together.
