Correlated imaging,also known as “Ghost imaging”, is a newlydeveloped imaging technique. The initial idea of correlated imaging comesfrom the study of quantum entanglement. And later, researchers find thecorrelating features also exist in classical optical domain not only in thequantum domain. Based on the conventional pseudo-thermal correlatedimaging, in this thesis, we mainly discuss the computational ghost imaging(CGI) based on a digital micro-mirror device (DMD) and imaging throughabberating media. Moreover, we also investigate the correlated imagingwith sunlight and analyze the application of digital filtering in the domainof imaging through abberating media. The main contents of this thesis arelisted as bellow:(1) Based on traditional two-path correlated imaging and CGI withspatial light modulator (SLM), we introduce the computational correlatedimaging with DMD, which shows high modulating speed and norequirement of calculating the reference arm speckle field. The resolutionis determined by two elements: size of the minimum independent area ofDMD and the scaling effect of lens. Thus we can improve the resolution byreducing the minimum independent area of the DMD and using proper lensto get low scaling ratio.(2) Based on CGI with DMD, we study the imaging throughabberating media which is simulated by a2mm stick ground glass. Bothstationary abberating media situation and moving abberating mediasituation are investigated. Verify the advantage of correlated imaging inimaging through abberating media over traditional optical imaging. Interms of moving abberating media, the correlated imaging quality isdramatically affected. In the last, we introduce a digital filtering method to improve the quality of imaging through moving aberration media.Quantitatively, the values of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is improved from2.13to6.12, where the acquisition number is60000, and the minimumindependent unit of DMD is comprised of4×4mirror-mirrors whose edgelength is4×13.68μm.(3) Introduce and analyze some classical correlated imagingalgorithms. Moreover, briefly introduce the compressive sensing and itspotential value in reconstructing images in correlated imaging.
