In this paper, the Darboux transformation and explicit solutions of a 6 potential soliton equation associated with a 3 × 3 matrix spectral problem are studied. First, the Darboux transformation of the soliton equation is constructed through gauge transformation matrix T. Then, setting the trivial solution as a seed solution, the new explicit solutions are found by the constructed Darboux transformation and the graphics of the solutions are drawn at the same time. Finally, the infinitely many conservation laws are obtained from the Lax pair.
