The research of Fine Reservoir Description is an inter-discipline subject consisting of geological static description, 3D quantitative modeling, reservoir engineering,numerical simulation technology and others. It carries out reservoir characteristics comprehensive research and analyzes development performance and water flooding effect. It predicts and demonstrates the oilfield development adjustment plan,optimizes production measures by establishing three-dimensional geological model ang performs mumerical simulation.Chang8 reservoir in the west area of Nanliang produced in synchronous water injection method from 2010. The main facies are underwater distributary channel microfacies.the structure is relatively simple. Comprehensive research shows that Chang8 belongs to low porosity and low permeability lithologic reservoir,it,s heterogeneity is moderately strong.This paper is aimed at problems about short production time,low pressure and efficiency of the reservoir, directional water show, low water control degree etc. In accordance with the requirements and thinking of the fine reservoir description. The difference of water injection effect is big,because of the development of natural micro fractures in Chang8 reservoir. Through production history data analysis and water drive effect evaluation, contact the history fitting of reservoir numerical simulation, analyze the law of oil and water movement. Comprehensive analysised,well pattern and well arrangement of this reservoir need to optimize. The optimization results are Southwest area of Chang8 reservoir encryption well network,and Changing direction of well, So as to improve the efficiency of oil injection, the Northeast area to maintain current injection production wells network and moderate increase stratum pressure.
