This paper is to identify asymptotically optimal control policies in the so-called uniform acceleration regime for multiclass feedforward network. First, we state a diffu-sion limit theorem for workloads in multiclass feedforward network; then, we introduce the concepts for asymptotically optimal and diffusion optimal policies; in the end, we prove that any policy that is optimal for the diffusion control problem is asymptotically optimal for a class of performance measures that satisfy a certain continuity property.
