Debris flow monitoring is the foundation of the study on the formation mechanism of debris flow and mathematical model as an important part of debris flow research. And it is an advanced measure to solve the problem of debris flow warning as well. In recent years, with the rap id development of science and technology, it can reduce casualties and property losses to establish debris flow remote monitoring system with the analys is of the real time data information and releas ing disaster early warning information. Debris flow monitoring is took as the object of study. The remote monitoring system is established by using sensor technology, wireless communication techno logy, computer technology and information processing technology, which can well solve the existing problem of the debris flow monitoring system and improve the monitoring level of system. The concrete research contents are as follows:(1) The system scheme is designed on the basis of reading literatures and requirements analysis. Wireless sensor network is formed through the layout of network nodes in monitoring area. 6Lo WPAN technology is used to realize the low power transmission, and the remote data transmission is achieved by Ethernet and digital rad io and other means.(2) A warning algorithm of debris flow is put forward according to the characteristics of debris flow formation. D-S evidence theory and AHP method are used in the study of each index evaluated of debris flow with the terrain conditions, ecological conditions, hydrological conditions and other factors. And then estab lish the early warning of debris flow classification through the efficacy coefficient method.(3) The remote monitoring system software of debris is designed by C# language. Each of the functional modules is designed, including data reading, storage and analysis. The monitoring center of the human-computer interface is designed to display and query parameter of debris flow, and judge the current state of the debris flow to realize the early warning.The remote monitoring system of debris flow is tested in the laboratory. The experimental data shows that the remote monitoring system of debris flow has completed the design requirements and has the practicability and popularization value.
