However, since the research object is very complex, with research methods having been unable to make major breakthroughs. What result in Computational social science has always been difficult to obtain research results to par with Natural science. The increasing complexity of human society, but also highlights the importance and the urgency of the development of social science.With the advent of the era of Big Data, opportunity has come to gather and analyze large amounts of data through information technology, to study of social phenomena and solve social problems through the establishment of calculation model. Computational social science is a new science what researches complex social phenomenon of human by using of information technology and computational tools. Based on the historical background and characteristics of discipline, this paper systematically introduces the research contents and methods of Computational social science.
