Photogrammetry has a history of more than one hundred years,and triangulation is always a key step in it.It mainly solves the high precision solution of exterior orientation elements,raises many effective theories and methods,including the bundle block adjustment with additional parameters,the combined adjustment with GPS/IMU and other auxiliary data and the method of reliability theory such as automatic measurement error evaluation and gross error detecting.Although many methods have been raised,the main aim is to raise the precision of photogrammetry,to speed up the computing and obtain the GIS-Data in the surveying area.This paper mainly researches the single strip analytical triangulation and block triangulation’s theory and the process of solution,and briefly introduces multi-core architecture,multi-core parallel computing technology and the model of multi-core parallel programming.With the development of multi-core technology and computer technology,and the demand of more and more high computational capabilities,there has new demands for algorithm design personnel and programming staff,and the thought of parallel programming gradually promoted.In order to make full use of multi-core computer computing resources,to further improve the calculating speed of aerial triangulation,achieve the purpose of real-time or near real-time solution of aerial triangulation,lighten the load of the workers,this paper proposes a method of aerial triangulation parallel computing on the base of single strip aerial triangulation and block triangulation theories combined with parallel programming theory.The paper also analyses the parallel algorithm of hot points in the process of triangulation.Combined with the parallel programming model,to transform the original aerial triangulation serial program to parallel program. Through the calculation of the original data, and the analysis of the results, confirmed the feasibility and effectiveness of parallel programming algorithm, to a certain extent to improve the calculating speed of the program.
