The Luotuoshan deposit of East Qinling is located in the southern margin of North China craton, which linked the Lushi-Queshan tectonic belt and the North Qinling accretionary belt. The Luotuoshan is a typical polymetallic deposit in the giant Nannihu Mo ore field in Luanchuan. Research on the metallogenesis of this deposit has significant meanings to prospect similar ore deposit in the area. Newest research results have been collected in this thesis. These data in combination with field survey and indoor data analysis help to summarize the ore-forming characteristics and ore-controlling factors of the deposit, and to point out the direction of future exploration in the district. In this thesis, geologic features of the Luotuoshan deposit such as main structure, stratum, magmatism are revealed. The characteristics of the ore body, ores, and wall-rock alteration for the Fe-Pb-Zn ores are identified. The ore-controlling factors are also revealed through data analysis and comparison. The Shangfanggou granite provided metal materials and heat for the ore deposition; the extensional fault zone formed by folds provided channel and place for infiltration and replacement of the ore-forming fluids, and also provided favorable conditions for the formation of shallow thick ore body. The development of the fractures in the wall rocks is beneficial for filling and replacing of the ore fluids. The deposit has close relationship with the formation of the Sanchuan Group, which provided partly materials for the deposit. The mineralization time was restricted due to data analysis and comparison. The mineralization at the Luotuoshan deposit occurs in ca. 140 Ma during Cretaceous tectonic-magmatic-metallogenic activities.General metallogenic model was established in this thesis, which also points out the direction of future exploration: the deep part of the No. 1 Fe-Pb-Zn ore body. Our study will provide basis for the sustainable development of the mine.
