The Shangzhuang deposit area belongs to Canzhuang gold deposit and is located at the margin of Jiaojia gold field. The Shangzhuang gold deposit shares similarities to deposits in Jiaojia gold field in regional geology and deposit geology, while it has it’s own characteristics, which include:(1) Ore bodies in Shangzhuang gold deposit are strictly controlled by Wang’ershan fault, which is subsidiary to the Jiaojia Fault;(2) Ore bodies are located at the contact zone of the Linglong Granite and Guojialing Grandiorite;(3) Most of the deposits in Jiaojia gold field occur in the footwall of the Jiaojia fault, while the ore bodies of Shangzhuang ore deposit occurs in the hanging wall of Wangershan fault;(4) The footwall and hanging wall of Wangershan fault in the Shangzhuang gold ore deposit are similar in lithology. On the basis of previous research and traditional methods, we combine microscopic instruments including of field emission scanning electron microscope(SEM) and high resolution transmission electron microscope(TEM), we got following conclusions:(1) gold was incorporated in pyrite at the main metallogenic period;(2) high temperature during main metallogenic period leaded to the lower growth of pyrite and formed crystals;(3)crystal morphology of pyrite can be better observed by scanning electron microscope and the pyrite samples are not necessary to be polished;(4) Octahedral crystals and pyritohedron crystals may represent the initial structure of pyrite, and they have relatively higher gold;(5)invisible gold was migrated out of pyrite at high temperature or metamorphic environment;(6) pyrite grain boundary migration and static recrystallisation indicate that pyrite grains have experienced hydrothermal or metamorphic;( 7) brittle deformation of pyrite happened during late period under low temperatue and high stress;(8) Much visible gold was found, and the related and accompanied minerals are pyrite, arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite.
