Manganese ore is important mineral resources in China and plays an important role in modern industry. Especially in the steel industry is very important. Manganese ore resource distribution is relatively concentrated, within the range of chongqing are mainly distributed in XiuShan County, YouYang County, chengkou county, has the high geological conditions for large-scale investigation and the basis of the work. In recent ten years, with the development and utilization of manganese ore and XiuShan County promoted the local economy development, from the mining of manganese ore to deep processing, mining economy more developed, has become a promote the development of county economy, realize the growing rich ran off of the pillar industries. But with the mining of manganese ore and more and more old technology to ever have been unable to reach for manganese ore supply and demand in the society now, ready for the corresponding exploration and practice of the high resolution sequence stratigraphy and the lack of large scale lithofacies paleogeographic work, making manganese metallogenic regularities, ore controlling factors are not clear, leading to problems such as prospecting direction is not clear. In order to meet the requirements of mineral on economic area, on the one hand, need to increase the utilization rate of manganese, on the other hand, we need to innovation manganese ore prospecting and mining technology, on the reference of previous technology using update prospecting method, extend the prospecting ideas, with advanced prospecting theory for manganese ore exploitation.Youyang, Xiushan area of "DaTangpo" type sedimentary manganese ore are mainly distributed in the northern area of Chongqing Nanhua Datangpo group in lower part, stratabound characteristics significantly. However, through the collation of the previous data we can see that, with respect to the "Datangpo" type sedimentary manganese ore deposition of relatively few studies, such as sedimentary environment analysis, lithofacies palaeogeography and tectonic control ore and sequence stratigraphic division and so on. I respectively in August 2013 and 2014 July with project team members into the study area of field geological survey. The whole study area and adjacent area geological environment with system of understanding and awareness. The typical mining area of the study area as the main demonstration, the reconnaissance, the high resolution sequence profile measurement, core observation, mined observation field geological means and sedimentary geochemical analysis, combined with collected geological data, focusing on the area Da Tang Po group sedimentary system, sequence characteristics, sequence stratigraphic framework, manganese ore deposit, discusses the "layer(order)-(micro) phase and manganese metallogenic relationship. The main progress of the following points:1) Through the analysis on field to identify the lithology and identify the terrestrial facies, transitional facies, the land and sea Marine three phase group, six sedimentary facies and sedimentary microfacies in the several;2)Through the study of outcrop sequence stratigraphy of the identified four kinds of typical interface: parallel unconformity surface, the exposed surface, lithologic facies conversion surface, to cascade structure surface; Combining the sequence and lithology can get sinian system can be divided into six medium-term sequence from bottom to top, two long sequence;3) Nanhua Datangpo formation of manganese ore for medium and high phosphorus iron sulfur content of low grade manganese ore, produced in Datangpo group in the lower black shale and dolomite at the transition part. Deposit has typical time control and the level of control, mineralization in layer(order) and(micro) phase, the position control is very obvious, the latter structure made of ore body has to transform and destructive effect.4)ZOS2 sequence HST/TST conversion interface, near the sea flooding is dominated by phosphorus manganese of main ore bearing horizons, shale manganese phase and weak oxidation- reduction medium estuary / Bay and basin environment conducive to manganese ore, terrigenous material supply is seriously affecting the manganese mineralization.
