Because of the Rayleigh surface wave has large percentage of energy in the wave field, And surface wave velocity is close to shear wave, in layered medium,Rayleigh surface wave has speed dispersion property,it can be used to infer the stratigraphic information, Rayleigh surface wave applied in underground survey widely.In recent years, Rayleigh surface wave detection method based on noise source has been widely concerned. A large number of field workers on its use in the field detection. But the simulation research of Rayleigh surface wave based on noise source is less, so research the simulation research of Rayleigh surface wave based on noise source, explore the universal law of noise source Rayleigh surface wave field is very meaningful.This paper mainly introduces the theory of Rayleigh surface wave and surface wave dispersion characteristics, on the basis of ultrasonic physical simulation, choose reasonable test material,made the model of homogeneous formation and choose reasonable observation method, simulating the noise source, and collect data, and by using the method of frequency wavenumber (f-k method) and spatial autocorrelation method (spac method) Process the data, extract the dispersion curve.Through comparison the dispersion curves of active source with the dispersion curves of noise source,points out that the active source surface wave exploration technique is more suitable for shallow engineering exploration, due to the detection depth deeper,the method of noise source is more suitable for collection the deep strata information. Comparise the noise source data processing methods of f-k method and spac method, points out that the noise spac method can more effectively prevent body wave interference, In the case of array precision meet the requirements, spac method is more suitable for noise source of Rayleigh surface wave field analysis.
