In the ocean engineering model experiment, restrictedby system’s sealing ability and independence, each type of measuring instrument collects data independently,which affects synchronousobservation, control and real-time processing of the whole testing system.EtherCAT is a kind of high efficient master-slave real-time Ethernet technology, which improves the accuracy and real-time performance of data exchange and provides an ideal platform for the high-speed modernizationdata acquisition.This paper first introduces the research status and development prospect of network data acquisition system.to realize the real-time, synchronous, accuracy requirements of data transmission,building the EtherCATnetwork data acquisition system based on PCIe bus.The network acquisition system is composed of monitoring layer, communication layer and equipment layer.Device layer contacts with the laboratory physical environment directly, which completesreal-time acquisition of various kinds of parameters and uploads to the communication layer.Communication layer,functioned as the data transfer station,receives data from equipment layer through and uploads to the monitoring layer through EtherCAT network.Monitoring layer completes the whole system control and data processing through main station software.This paper will introduce the system form the following aspects:the design scheme of the whole syetem,thedesign and realization of the slave station and the master station.the paper first introduces the hardware circuit design, including the PCIeinterface design,FPGA device selection and circuit design,EtherCAT communications module circuit design.Then the paper introduces the software programming of EtherCAT network slave station,including STM32 and FPGA program design,the driver program development of the slave station.Then the paper introduces the design and implementation of EtherCAT the master station.Finally the EtherCAT network data acquisition system is debugged and tested.firstly,the slave station card is debuggedin development environment of QuartusⅡ 11.0 software using the SignalTapⅡ online logic analyzer,which gets data transmission timing of PCIe interface. Then the design makes the overall system performanceand synchronization testing,showing that this system meets the accurate,synchronous,real-timerequirements of data transmission.
