| With the development of modern technology, queuing theory and queuing network is widely appeared in basic life, computers, networks and aerospace. However, nowadays the most works of queuing system and queuing network focus on customers arriving with Poisson distribution, and service time is subject to exponential distribution. But the queuing of real world is complex and various, this assumption has its limits. The service time may be subject to lognormal distribution, for example, the time to repair a maintainable system is often subject to lognormal distribution. Compared with general distribution, little effort has been devoted to lognormal distribution, so it is desirable to study the queuing network that service time is subject to lognormal distribution.Because of the complex and various of real queuing model, and the uncertainty of queuing network, it’s difficult or impossible to deal with complex queuing system and queuing network with exact mathematical analysis, so simulation is an effect tool to solve these problems. Simulating of complex queuing system or queuing network for the queuing network, obtaining the performance parameters and putting forward the optimization method by using computer simulation. In this paper, simulation of queuing system and queuing network is executed by virtue of MATLAB/Simulink, the characteristic and performance of different queuing systems are obtained. Meanwhile, an important system performance parameter, waiting rate, is put forward according to the analysis of result of queuing network, then the bottleneck and redundancy are found from the waiting rate, and finally some solutions are proposed for optimizing the queuing network. |
