Gannan region is an important nonferrous metal mining base in China, and many large or super large tungsten deposits are located here. Huangsha tungsten deposit is a representative of large quartz vein type wolframite deposits in the region. This paper has summarized geological features, tgeological geochemistry and regional geochemical exploration characteristics of Huangsha tungsten deposit, based on its geology features, regional rocks, altered rocks and 1:200,000 stream sediment characteristics. Finaly, we establish Huangsha tungsten deposit geological and geochemical prospecting model.We mainly get some recognition:1. Huangsha tungsten deposit is located in the territory of Yudu County, Jiangxi city of Ganzhou Province. Its orebody is exposed. The main ore formation of the deposit is the lower cambrian metamorphic sandstone and slate. Zone mineralization is associated with Tieshanlong granites of early Phase of Yanshan,and the forming age of it is about 168.1±2.1 Ma. The ore body shows like quartz vein or quartz veinlets,existing in the inner and outer contact zone of the concealed granite, however, most of which is produced in the metamorphic rocks of outer contact zone. The ore type is mainly quartz vein type wolframite. The main wall rock alteration includes muscovite alteration, silication, tourmalinization and sericitization.2. Granite rock in the study area is alkaline feldspar granite or monzonite granite in composition, having features of high silicon, high base, poor magnesium, poor calcium, high DI, supersaturated in aluminum. Its chondrite normalized REE curve showed a significant negative of Eu anomalies but flattened.3. Compared with the China granite, In trace elements, the granite rocks enrich in Sc, Y, Th, Nb, Ta, U, which are high field strength elements; it also enriched in hydrothermal ore-forming elements, such as W, Sn, Mo, Bi, Cu, Pb, Zn, Ag, As, Sb, Hg; it enriched in F, Rb, Li, Cr, B, CS other elements.4. Compared With granite rocks in the research area, the altered rocks significantly enriched in W, Sn, Mo, Bi, Cu, Zn, Cd, Au, Ag, As, Sb, Hg, F, Sc, Hf, Co, 16 in total, whose enrichment factor are greater than 1.20, considered as the ore-forming indicate elements.5. Compared with elements in China stream sediments, the 1:200,000 stream sediment in Huangsha mining area enriched in W, Sn, Mo, Bi, Cu, Pb, Cd, Au, Ag, As, Sb, Hg, Li, Be, B, F, Y, Zr, 19 in total,whose enrichment factor are greater than 1.20. Combined with the geochemical anomaly map and the altered rocks of the research area, the ore-forming indicate elements of Huangsha tungsten deposit and molybdenum deposit are W, Mo, Bi, Cu, Sn, Zn, Cd, Au, Ag, As, Sb, Hg, F, Co, 14 in total.Based on the above research, the geological geochemical prospecting model of Huangsha tungsten deposit can be established.
